Privacy Policy
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to n1d services that link to it. It does not apply to third-party websites, platforms, communities, payment processors, video providers, analytics providers, AI providers, or other services that n1d does not control.
If you use n1d on behalf of an organization, your organization may control or receive information related to your account, access, learning activity, billing, or support requests.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of n1d, and information from service providers or integrations. This may include:
- Account information, such as your name, email address, login credentials, profile details, authentication data, and communication preferences
- Billing and transaction information, such as plan, purchase, renewal, cancellation, tax, invoice, and payment status details
- Learning activity, such as courses viewed, lessons completed, videos watched, saved resources, downloads, assessments, progress, and engagement with learning features
- User content, such as comments, community posts, assignment work, prompts, answers, uploaded files, support messages, survey responses, and feedback
- Device, usage, and analytics information, such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referral URLs, session activity, feature usage, approximate location, and event data
- Communications information, such as email delivery, opens, clicks, unsubscribe status, support history, and other interactions with messages we send
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information unless a feature clearly asks for it and you choose to provide it. Do not submit regulated, employer-confidential, or highly sensitive information unless you have authority to do so and the relevant feature is designed for that use.
3. How we collect information
We collect information when you create an account, join the waitlist, subscribe, purchase, use a course, watch a video, download a resource, submit content, contact support, respond to communications, or interact with n1d features.
We also use cookies, pixels, local storage, logs, and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember preferences, understand usage, improve performance, prevent abuse, and measure marketing or product effectiveness.
4. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, operate, secure, maintain, and improve n1d
- Create and manage accounts, authentication, access, subscriptions, purchases, and billing
- Deliver courses, videos, downloads, assessments, community features, AI-enabled features, and support

- Comply with law, enforce our agreements, resolve disputes, and protect n1d, users, and others
5. How we share information
We may share personal information with service providers that help us run n1d, including providers for hosting, databases, authentication, email, analytics, video hosting, payments, file storage, background jobs, AI features, customer support, security, and infrastructure.
We may also share information with your organization if you use n1d through an organization-managed account, with third-party services you choose to connect or use, with professional advisors, in connection with a business transaction, when required by law, or when needed to protect rights, safety, security, users, n1d, or others.
We do not sell personal information. We also do not share personal information with third parties for their own cross-context behavioral advertising unless we provide any required notice and choice.
6. AI-enabled features
Some n1d features may use AI providers to summarize, explain, generate examples, draft responses, recommend learning paths, or support learning workflows. Information you submit to those features may be processed by n1d and service providers to provide, secure, maintain, evaluate, and improve the Services.
Do not submit sensitive personal information, confidential employer information, credentials, payment data, or other high-risk information into AI features unless the feature expressly says it is designed for that information.
7. Payments
Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors. n1d may receive transaction metadata, such as customer identifiers, subscription status, plan details, billing dates, invoice information, and payment status, but payment processors handle full payment card details under their own policies and security practices.
8. Email and communications
We may send transactional, security, product, support, and marketing communications. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us through the contact page. We may still send non-marketing messages related to your account, purchases, security, or legal notices.
9. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide n1d, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, and support legitimate business needs. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information, how it is used, and legal or operational requirements.
10. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and you are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and using secure devices and networks.
11. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of personal information. You may also have rights to opt out of certain uses or sharing. To make a request, contact us through the contact page.
You can also control some information through account settings, billing controls, unsubscribe links, browser settings, cookie controls, and device settings. Some choices may limit functionality.
12. Children
n1d is intended for adults building practical data skills. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to n1d, contact us through the contact page so we can review and take appropriate action.
13. International use
n1d is operated from the United States. If you use the Services from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where n1d or its service providers operate. Those countries may have data protection laws different from the laws where you live.
14. Third-party services
n1d may link to or integrate with third-party services. Those services have their own privacy practices, notices, and controls. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services that n1d does not control.
15. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice by reasonable means, such as posting the updated policy, updating the "Last updated" date, sending an email, or providing notice in the Services.
16. Contact
